On the 14th June 2007 PYV Legal held its inaugural Risk Management Seminar for its own clients and selected invitees. This event followed a poll conducted by PYV Legal in the early part of this year to find out what its clients wanted from it as their Insurance Broker, and this was one of the results.

For the first time we were able to bring together a number of different insurers who specifically write solicitor's professional indemnity insurance into the same room, with members of our solicitor client base, and where access was granted to Insurers on a "one on one" basis (i.e. appointments). This unique opportunity was one that had a very high take up rate indeed - at last many insured firms had the chance to meet their insurers face to face, discus their risk management/professional indemnity questions and obtain a taste of what it feels like to be a professional indemnity insurance broker.

The event was very well attended and all who participated (delegates and exhibitors) took something positive away from the seminar, indeed the feedback garnered at the event was overwhelmingly positive with many delegates stating that not only was this the best event of its type that they had attended, but also one of the most enjoyable as well - high praise indeed!

Entertainment was also a feature of the event, and was sampled heavily (as was the complementary food and wine served in the downstairs bar!) with perhaps the most effort being expended in trying to win a prestige classic car for the weekend, with our resident caricaturist being a popular choice as well.
